Neil Patrick Harris is killer Count Olaf in Unfortunate Events teaser

Netflix have released a new teaser for their upcoming series based on the Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events based on the novels by Daniel Handler.

Neil Patrick Harris has taken on the role of the duplicitious, ruthless Count Olaf who is consumed with obtaining the wealth of the orphaned Beaudelaire children – Violet, Klaus and Sunny.

Jim Carrey first brought the written role to life in the 2004 film, which also featured Meryl Streep, Jude Law, Billy Connolly and Aussie star Emily Browning.

Netflix’s eight-part Series of Unfortunate Events is due to launch in 2017. Watch the teaser trailer below.
