Australian Conservatives launch new video against marriage equality

The Australian Conservatives have launched a new video arguing against marriage equality arguing that if same sex unions are legalised, school children will be told of the existence of married gay couples.

The political party claims that since same-sex marriage was allowed in Canada, four year old children have been told about the existence of married same-sex couples.

Then video then goes on to say that there was once a teacher in the USA who once told her students about homosexual sex, and her justification was that having gay sex was legal.

The party says these two examples are enough reason to vote No in the marriage postal survey.

The video comes on the back of Australian Conservatives leader Senator Cory Bernardi describing the push for marriage equality as a ‘Trojan Horse‘ that will lead to unknown consequences.

Last week the Senator illustrated his concerns with a graphic that suggested that marriage equality would lead to an increased level of ‘fake news’.
