The event for 14-18 year-olds will take place at the Perth Arena on September 28th will run from 3pm through to 9pm.

Set during school holidays, the festival combines music with immersive and innovative experiences, designed to guide school leavers towards unlocking life’s potential and career pathways after high school and encourage free thinking.

Aside from the great musical line-up, Perth-born founder of The Indigo Project Mary Hoang will be guiding an opening keynote, plus there’ll be workshops and panels with artists and Murdoch alumni.

Adding to the experience will be feel-good ‘activations’ including a video games lounge, an experiential photo booth, communal art and much more.

Mary Hoang, founder of The Indigo Project shared her excitement about the upcoming event. The Sydney based business takes a fresh approach to mental health and decision making.

“Sound On is an incredible opportunity to connect with the spirit of Perth teenagers, who love good music and are keen to take charge of their futures by exploring their minds. The combination of massive artists, alongside immersive workshop experiences, makes this unique festival a playground of entertainment and empowerment.

“We’re so excited to partner with Murdoch University to bring to life this one-of-a-kind event and foster free thinking amongst the young people of Western Australia. It’s going to be unbelievable.” Hoang said.
