Will Kylie Minogue be making an appearance at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras?

The Mardi Gras regular has performed at the after-party several times and touched down in Sydney earlier this week ahead of her Australian tour.

The tour doesn’t start until next week, so Kylie just appears to be hanging out in Sydney at the moment, she posted a picture to Instagram a few days ago of herself in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

A few years ago Kylie gave a surprise show at The Beresford Hotel the night before Mardi Gras, posting info about the performance just an hour before she took to the stage, Undoubtedly fans are refreshing her Twitter feed on a regular basis.

The headline act for the party is Scissor Sister member Jake Shears, who has a close professional and personal association with Minogue. He wrote several of her hits, they dueted together on Nervo track, and Kylie’s been on stage with the Scissor Sisters in the past. Plus Jake’s the support act for her tour. Could Kylie appear alongside Jake Shears?

The official world from the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras is…. “no comment”.
