British singer La Roux has sent fans into a whirl of excitement, posting a photo to social media showing them back in the studio.
The Bulletproof singer’s debut album came out more than 10 years ago, and her follow up was delivered back in 2014. There’s no word on when fans can expect new music, but getting to the studio is the first step.
At first La Roux was a duo comprising Elly Jackson and collaborator Ben Langmaid, but after their first album the project continued on with just Jackson at the wheel.
Since bringing out the album Trouble in Paradise in 2014 Jackson has appeared on a few collaborations, including several tracks with New Order, plus they’ve teamed up with Tyler, the Creator and Whyte Horses.
It might be a while before we get to hear some new sounds from La Roux, but until then Bulletproof is timeless.
