Israel Folau accuses Rugby Australia panel member of bias

Rugby player Israel Folau has accused one of the three panel members at Rugby Australia who reviewed his employment of bias.

Rugby Australia dismissed the multi-millionaire player over his social media posts that’s claimed that homosexuals, drunkards, fornicators, idolators and others were going to hell. The decision to cancel Folau’s contact was made by a panel of tribunal members who considered his case for several days.

Now Folau is suing Rugby Australia over his dismal and in court documents submitted to FairWork Australia he claims that tribunal member Kate Eastman SC should not have been allowed to judge his case because she had=s previously advocated for LGBTI rights.

In court documents Folau claims that Eastman failed to disclose that she has sat on various board and subcommittees for Rugby Australia in the past that “advocated for the LGBTIQ community”.

Folau is seeking $10million is damaged relating to his dismissal, and has raised $2 million in public donations to fight his case.
