All the World's a Stage

‘I like this place and willingly could waste my time in it’. So said Celia from Shakespeare’s hit play As You Like It. She could well have been talking about The Botanic Garden at Kings Park, the setting for this year’s Shakespeare in the Park, produced by deckchair theatre. Tune in, turn on and drop out as deckchair theatre takes As You Like It back to the psychedelic 60’s for an evening filled with love, lions, cross-dressing, romantic mix-ups and loopiness. Directed by Angela Chaplin, this wonderful remake also features costuming by Issac Lummis (a.k.a. drag supernova Cherry La Queer). The season runs until February 9. www.bocsticketing.com.au
