Going to a Gogo: STYLEAID Launches

STYLEAID 2015 had its official launch on Tuesday night at Crown Casino’s La Vie Champagne bar. The annual HIV/AIDS fundraiser is on at Crown on Friday July 31st and this year the event has a Gogo theme.

Dr Jonathan Hallett, Chair of the WA AIDS Council, said the launch was an opportunity to thank the sponsors, supporters and volunteers who help create the spectacular event.

“In the seventeen years since Perth first celebrated STYLEAID much needed funds have been raised to help our vital support program dedicated to people livig with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Now more than ever is a time to believe in the illimination of HIV in Australia. Never before have we had access to the science, technology and tools for this goal to be realistic and achieveable.”

Dr Hallet highlighted that there was an extrodinary amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to bring the event to fruition.
