Neil Patrick Harris joins new faces in 'Matrix 4'


The Matrix series is getting a long awaited fourth addition with the original cast and creators returning to the big screen.

Neil Patrick Harris is one of the first new faces announced to be joining the Matrix 4 cast, along with Keanu Reeves, Jada Pinkett Smith, Carrie-Ann Moss and Laurence Fishburne from the original trilogy.

Other newcomers include Aquaman‘s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ Jessica Henwick.

Lana Wachowski will be back in the director’s chair again, after creating the first groundbreaking film back in 1999 with her sister Lilly.

The director siblings were also behind the queer Netflix cult favourite Sense8.
