Thailand gives sneak peek at first official RuPaul's Drag Race spin-off

Thailand will be the first country outside the US to produce and air an official syndication of the smash-hit series RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Katana Group bought the rights to the format from Passion Entertainment late last year, but fans speculated it was merely to secure screening rights in the south-east Asian nation.

The producers have released the first look at the logo, the work room and the runway for Drag Race Thailand – but are yet to announce who will be hosting the show when it begins airing in February.

British and German production companies are also speculated to have purchased the rights to the now famous reality format, though neither country has officially announced a drag TV competition.

The next season of the original RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars begins airing on Stan on Thursday January 25.
