Victoria Park really has transformed in the last few years and dotted along the long snaking Albany Highway is a collection of great shops, restaurants, and iconic pubs.

OUTinPerth dropped by the revived Victoria Park Hotel recently as the team showcased their new food offerings and drink options.

Head Chef, Andre Nunes has crafted the flavour-packed menu. Centred around grazing, grilling and cuisine infusion; with his Brazilian roots reflecting in the flavours.

We sampled some crumbed haloumi cubes served with a Brazil nut pesto, devoured some barbequed Brazilian rump topped with chimichurri, and filled up on their loaded fries which were found under a generous serving of pulled brisket and mozzarella.

The new cocktail menu features an array for classics and concoctions, from the signature botanical gin The Vic, to the fairy bread topped Birthday Cake Colada. We sampled the melon flavoured gin cocktail and could easily have stayed on for a few more.

The hotel’s makeover as retain its historical foundations, and features an open-brighter styling, with misty green panelling, lush greenery and restored detail features.

The 2020 entertainment & events calendar will see the likes of Double Denim – a 90’s hits & sips inspired night, whilst Sunday’s will be home of the Gin Botanical Brunch, where you can enjoy bottomless brekkie & gin n’ juice cocktails, complete with a garnish garden.
