Last night van Leishout Hunt was given The Glammy for most Outstanding Contribution by an Individual or Couple and was also named the recipient of the Freedom Centre Youth Award. The youth award was given in memory of Freedom Centre volunteer Isabelle Lake who passed away earlier this year.

RTRFM’s radio program All Things Queer was named Best Community Group, while one of the show’s presenters Tim Bee, who DJs at both Connections and The Court Hotel was named Best Entertainer. Newcomer The Honey Lounge was named the best venue and Melane White from the WA Police was given the award for Building Bridges Between and Within Communites.
