Leigh joined the team in February of 2015 as part of a university placement, leading to a full time position as of June the same year.

Graduating from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Communication and Media Studies, Leigh is eager to put his degree to work supporting the LGBTIQ community.

The new graduate hopes to expand his knowledge of queer politics and history in order to better understand his community and work to unify the LGBTIQ community in celebrating our shared history and diverse community here in Western Australia.

Leigh is an avid ga(y)mer, cinephile, supporter of the arts and all things drag. He also has a weakness for reality television and cartoons. Leigh’s heroes include John Waters, Gina Riley & Jane Turner, RuPaul and Amy Schumer.

Graeme Watson joined OUTinPerth in January 2011. Previously Graeme was the General Manager of community radio station RTRFM 92.1, where he continues to volunteer as a presenter on the programs ‘Artbeat’ and ‘Golden Apples of the Sun’.

Graeme is a member of The Blue Room, the Film and Television Institute, Pride WA, the Loton Park Tennis Club and RTRFM 92.1

Graeme began his writing at Metior, the student guild publication at Murdoch University – his first ever interview was with Loon X-Wing the front man of local band Beaverloop. Graeme’s recent interviews include disco legend Martha Wash, Paula Abdul and Perfume Genius.
