Kuwait Will Screen For Homosexuals

Kuwait is considering performing medical tests on people entering the country to ensure they are not gay, lesbian, bisexual or trans* according to a top official in the gulf state.

It has been reported in the International Business Times, that the Director of Public Health Yousouf Mindkar has stated that foreign nationals entering the country should be checked for their sexuality. If found to be LGBT the foreigners will then be banned from entering Kuwait or any of the other Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC).

Homosexual acts are banned in all GCC countries including Bahrain, Kuwait, , Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman and the United Arab Emirates.

No details were given on how you medically check if someone is LGBT.
