Jetstar Apologises After Passenger’s Luggage Labeled as Gay

Jetstar were quick to apologise when a straight stay at home Dad picked his baggage off the carousel in Brisbane to discover his case was labeled ‘I Am Gay’ with airline luggage stickers.
The story made news around the world, it is believed the stickers were added at Perth airport where the man caught his flight.

Connections License Delayed

Connections Nightclub’s big launch of their new cocktail lounge hit a major snafu on Friday when they failed to get the final permits to allow the bar to be opened. The party went ahead with a VIP invite only function and a huge drag performance later in the evening. People were able to look at the bar but no drinks could be served from it.

Cazwell Releases New Song

Gay rap star Cazwell caught our attention mid week with his new track ‘No Selfie Control’. The tune is so catchy, trust us it’ll get stuck in your head. Our favourite selfie of the week though was this one, by OUTinPerth team member Ryan.

Never Tell Your Girlfriend She’s Not Romantic

This video of a marriage equality activist in the USA, who told her girlfriend that she was not that romantic, only to find her girlfriend staging the most romantic marriage proposal the next day, made us shed a few happy tears.

Jedward Create Chaos on Never Mind the Buzzcocks

You may wonder if Jedward are as naive as the come across, we interviewed them last month and confirmed that yes, they are. This episode of British show ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ is amazing, the twins create so much chaos!
