Marriott Hotels Launch LGBT Campaign

jason-collinsMarriott Hotels have launched a new campaign to reach out to the LGBT market. Their new advertising campaign features US basketball star Jason Collins.

The campaign features people sharing their travel stories plus five Marriott Hotels in Washington DC will have images of the campaign wrapped around the buildings.

The campaign also encourages visitors to the hotel to upload their own photos from their stay.

The hotel chain operates over 4000 properties across 80 countries and is one of he world’s biggest hotel chains.

Collins is one of the spokespeople featured in the campaign. Last year he made history when he became the first active professional athlete in a team sport to declare that he was gay.

The hotel chain is also supporting multiple events during Pride week in the USA.
