How has the debate during the marriage survey affected you?

The Australia Institute, with the support of the National LGBTI Health Alliance, is conducting a national research project on the effect of the marriage equality debate on LGBTIQ people aged 18+ and their allies.

Members of the LGBTIQ communities and their allies are encouraged to take part in an anonymous online questionnaire that takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.

Your contribution will help form a picture of how we are responding to messages being communicated as part of the debate.

As well as a historical account, this research seeks to learn from the current situation to help support LGBTIQ communities in the short and long-term.

Dr Saan Ecker is conducting this study for The Australia Institute with the support of the National LGBTI Health Alliance.

This study has been approved by the ACT Health Directorate Human Research Ethics Committee. (Approval No.17.222. Valid to 12/10/2018).

The questionnaire is available until 14 November and is avialable online via Survey Monkey
