Courtney Act's bisexual+ reality dating show is coming to Foxtel

A new reality dating series is coming to Foxtel next month which will send a group of British bisexual+ (bi, pan, fluid etc) singles on an overseas adventure to find love.

Hosted by Australia’s own Courtney Act, The Bi Life will send participants to Barcelona to live, party and romance together in the picturesque Spanish city.

Act says she is excited that the series is coming to Australian audiences as well.

“It’s high time that there was a dating show for the large number of young people today, like me, who are attracted to more than one gender,” Act said.

“In 2018 we know that sexuality is fluid and sharing the stories and experiences, the laughter and the love making, of young bi people is so important. So get ready to see the true stories of bisexual singles, who are the largest part of the LGBTQ+ community, but the least known.”

Though this will be the first televised show of its kind, earlier this year students at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) launched an exclusively bisexual+ web series of a similar nature.

In What’s Your Flava?, eight bi+ Australians cooked for their guests in a rotating dinner party, to determine which of the other participants they would like to have dessert with.

The Bi Life will premiere Tuesday October 30 on Foxtel’s E! and hayu.
