This year's Pride Parade route announced

Pride WA have revealed the route for this year’s Pride Parade with only a slight change from last year.

The parade will commence on Francis Streets and travel across to Lake Street, before heading along James Street and turning into Williams Street. The parade will conclude on the Horseshoe Bridge where participants will be able to head to the official Pride Party in Yagan Square.

The route is slightly shorter than last years, which saw the parade starting in Beaufort Street in front of The Court Hotel before heading into Francis Street. This year the floats and marchers will congregate in Museum Street and Francis Street ahead of the parade starting.

The annual parade is on Saturday 24 November and will be the one of the highlights of the month long festival.

Last year the route of the parade was changed to revitalise the event, previously the parade started on Brisbane Street and traveled down William Street and James Street before concluding in Russell Square.
