To be part of their entry in the parade you’ll need to attend one rehearsal. Costumes for girls will include long Mauritian dresses. If you don’t have one the group can help you hire one for a small fee, but if you have your own or want to wear something else that is also fine as long as it suits the look of the islander float. For boys they will be wearing white shorts with a colourful Hawaiian top.
