Photos have emerged on Instagram of Skarsgard working a fabulous golden gown, hair whooped and face beat for the gods alongside co-star Bel Powley and director Marielle Heller.

Heller’s film is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Phoebe Gloekner, which focuses on protagonist Minnie’s (Powley) affair with mother Charlotte’s (Kristin Wiig) boyfriend – Skarsgard’s character Monroe.

The film won the Grand Prix for best feature length film at the Berlin International Film Festival and the Special Jury Award for Excellent in Cinematography at Sundance.
