The number of protestors at today’s Equal Love rally may have been significantly lower than other recent protests, but the noise created by the energetic crowd certainly caught the attention of Saturday shoppers in the centre of Perth today.
Despite police demands that the protest remain on the footpaths – the crowd stopped traffic on both William and Barrack Street, and street buskers quickly moved out of the way of the loud crowd that circled the city’s retail district.
