The Number Ones, Up Close and Personal Tour began in The Philippines in February and has wound its way through Asia, America and Europe. In August the show will complete a second leg of the United States before heading to Australia.

Jackson last played Perth in February 1995. Since then she has released an additional five albums of material, continued working as an actress and been an advocate for many causes including GLBT rights. The show focuses on Jackson’s hit songs. The show originally contained 29 of Jackson’s hits, mainly from her 80’s and 90’s heyday, but the European leg of the tour saw the set list being cut down to 25 tunes.

Tickets go on sale from Ticketek on Wednesday August 3.
