Taylor Swift has made a surprise appearance at Stonewall Inn in New York. The USA is marking gay pride month as it heads towards the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots at the end of the month.

Swift joined on stage by Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson who was hosting the evening of musical performers. Swift delivered an acoustic version of her hit Shake It Off, with Fergusson enthusiastically joining her on stage.
