Troye Sivan's video for 'Heaven' highlights LGBT history

Fullscreen capture 22012017 85513 PMSinger Troye Sivan has released the fourth single from his award winning Blue Neighbourhood album.

Heaven features Australian singer Betty Who and the video for the tune highlights queer icons and relationships from days gone by.

The back and white clip, that was directed by Luke Gilford, sees Sivan being embraced by a male friend while being soaked in the rain.

The clip shows assassinated gay rights leader Harvey Milk alongside footage of Pride parades and same sex weddings. Sivan also has a message that accompanies the clip.

“We have always been here. we will always be here. this video is dedicated to all who’ve come before me and fought for our cause and those who now continue the fight. in dark and light times, let’s love forever.”
