The Glastonbury Music Festival is one of the biggest music events on the planet, so you can always expect something pretty magical to happen, and special guests are a common feature.

Kylie Minogue teamed up with Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Nick Cave this year, and The Killers welcomed the Pet Shop Boys on stage during their encore set.

The two bands performed Pet Shop Boys huge 80’s hit Always on My Mind. The song was originally a sad ballad performed by Elvis Presley but Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe turned it into a dance floor thumper.

After performing Always on My Mind the two groups delivered The Killers’ song Human. Following the Pet Shop Boys, the band brought out legendary guitarist Johnny Marr. They delivered a rendition of The Smiths’ This Charming Man and finished things off with Mr Brightside.

Perhaps the most memorable guest appearance of the festival though was when rapper Dave pulled a young guy called Alex out of the audience to perform Thiago Silva.
