Kate Carnell Leaves beyondblue

News

Kate CarnellKate Carnell, the CEO of beyondblue has announced that she’ll be leaving the organisation to take a new role with the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Carnell, who formerly the ACT’s Chief Minister, had been with the mental health group for two years. During this time the organisation rolled out a number of LGBTIQ related programs including the ‘Families Like Mine’ hand book and the ‘Stop, Think, Respect’ promotional campaign. Carnell has also been a vocal supporter of marriage equality.
