Sir Ian McKellen has tweeted the first image of himself playing iconic detective Sherlock Holmes. McKellen will be playing a 93 year old incarnation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s legendary character in a film called ‘Mr. Holmes’.

The film is also set to star Laura Linney and reportedly had ‘A Slight Trick of the Mind’ as a previous title.
