Get ready for Bowie's Blackstar

Bowie

David Bowie is set to premiere the title track from his forthcoming album ‘Blackstar’ on Thursday.

The 10 minute track and accompanying short film will be the singer’s first new work since his comeback album in 2013.

After a ten year hiatus from recording Bowie released ‘The Next Day’ an album that saw him return to the top of the charts, now he’s back with his 25th solo album.

The album will be out on January 8, 2016, which will be the singer’s 69th birthday. Fans are eagerly awaiting the new tune, but a short snippet has been released as part of a teaser video.

The singer has also launched an addictive website that counts down the months, days and minutes to the albums release. The site has a grid pattern on the screen.

Users can click on the site changing it’s patterns, rotating the grid-like mesh. Try hitting some keys to alter it too. We played with it for about ten minutes this morning (let us know if you stubble over anything it does).
