The Australia Council has announced that it will fund a $20,000 collaborative residency for artists in virtual world Second Life. Just when you thought that ‘decorating’ the walls of your childhood doll house was a skill you’d outgrown, you get the opportunity to create in the play room for grown-ups. Replace marker pens with talent and experience in inter-disciplinery arts and media practices and in-and out world audiences, and you’re off.
