DJ Jim Jam is heading back to Connections Nightclub this weekend.

After playing some of the biggest club nights in the UK alongside some of Australia’s biggest parties the DJ is ready to party hard in Perth.

Last time you were at Connections clubgoers wore their Jim Jams to the club in your honour. What shenanigans are you hoping for this time around?

I’m hoping they wear nothing at all! Really – how can you top Jim Jams!

Hailing from the UK, do you think your beats have maintained a British flavour?

Yeah definitely, I have lived in Sydney for 10 years this year but the British sense of music always seem to remain in me.

We had a listen to your take on Madison Avenue’s ‘Don’t Call Me Baby’. Can we expect more awesome 90’s sounds from you at Connections?

Yes some! There’s a lot of great ’90s influenced music around at the moment, although I just finished my second remix with Brett Austin – our version of ‘Put ‘Em High’, a huge club hit from the thousands that I will 100% be dropping.

You’ve played some pretty major gigs, including the Sydney Mardi Gras. Are there any gigs that really stand out as especially memorable for you?

Sydney Mardi Gras was definitely an insane one! ‘Daywash’ is always a standout gig for me down at Chinese Laundry it doesn’t matter how many times I play there it’s always amazing! Spinning at ‘Beyond’ and ‘Room Service’ in London are two huge highlights.

Getting to play back in my mother land recently at two of the UK’s biggest nights was so much fun!

In Sydney you play at party called ‘Therapy’. What music do you find therapeutic?

Various types of music I love! From house to a bit of progressive! I regularly listen to Oliver Helden’s weekly podcast which always hit the the spot for me.
