Last chance to see 'Seeing Squirrels' Art by Tinks

Belle Regine 2mb (002)Artist Jayne Southway is holding a closing event for the exhibition ‘Art by Tinks – Seeing Squirrels’ at Chrissie Parrott Arts on Saturday.

The opening for ‘Art by Tinks – Seeing Squirrels’ as part of PRIDEfest 2015 was an extraordinary night including music performance and visual displays of collaged mannequin torsos and objects; the closing is not to be missed.

“The opening and closing are all about creating memories for people.”

“People will hopefully take home a piece of my creation, if not hold a memory of the night.”

There is a silent auction of two artworks from the exhibition with the sales going toward MANNA, a volunteer-driven charity in Western Australia serving the homeless and the vulnerable since 1996.

One artworks is by a homeless customer of MANNA for the last 10 years. Photographer Marcin Zydel has photographed the work of Jayne Southway and limited edition prints are available, 10% from the sale of all prints go to MANNA.
